WORLD ENERGY SAVING DAY 2025
🌍 The world doesn’t stop — and neither do we!
Once again, we celebrate #WorldEnergySavingDay as it should be celebrated: by contributing our part so that, together, we can make our daily activities as sustainable as possible.
We would especially like to highlight that four years have now passed since the installation and commissioning of an Energy Saving System for an island of 4× MÜLLER WEINGARTEN MW2800 presses, where the savings achieved have exceeded — and continue to exceed every working day — 50% compared to the consumption before our intervention.
If we add this achievement to all the others accomplished since 2016, across more than 32 machines, the figures are truly impressive:
💰 Energy savings for our customers of 8.87 GWh!!! (8,870,000 kWh)
💨 More than 3,900 tons of CO₂ NOT emitted into the atmosphere
🧐 Let’s take a moment to think about the energy generated by an average wind turbine, like the ones we see on our mountains: approximately 2,000 kWh.
If a wind farm has, for example, 20 turbines, this means we have saved the equivalent energy that those turbines would generate over more than 440 days — more than 1.2 years.
Energy that could be:
– Used for other needs
– Used to delay the installation of new wind farms
– …
