HRE HIDRAULIC, 40 YEARS OF INNOVATION AND EVOLUTION ON THE SPRI BLOG

12/11/20210

The SPRI Group, in its Blog “Basque companies” have published an article about us:

“HRE Hidraulic, 40 years of innovation and evolution”.

In this article you will find a bit of our history, we talk about the project with which we have presented ourselves to Basque Digital Innovation Hub (BDIH) – Konexio 2021 and we advance you some surprises that are coming soon.

Below is an extract from this article :

“The company from Elgoibar, specialising in industrial fluid engineering projects, has received support from the BDIH Konexio programme . HRE Hidraulic is a curious case in an industrial company: around 30% of its business comes from its didactic and training unit aimed at both training centres and companies. “We want our knowledge acquired in industry to be transmitted to society and also to form part of our business,” explain Esther Velasco and José Ángel Alberdi, manager and director of the Industry business unit, respectively.

This company has received financial support from the SPRI Group through the BDIH Konexio programme. The Basque Digital Innovation Hub is making the connected network of advanced manufacturing assets and services available to SMEs for training, research, testing and validation.

The company, located in Elgoibar, specialises in engineering projects in the field of industrial fluids and covers a multitude of sectors, from machine tools, automotive, assembly machinery, aluminium injection machinery, paper mills and the iron and steel industry to aeronautics, railways, oil&gas, and even aquariums (with water hydraulics), “and we are also diversifying into the marine sector”.

WORLD ENERGY SAVING DAY 2021

25/10/20210

Another year, we could not miss the World Energy Saving Day, which was celebrated on 21 October 2021.

You know that HRE is committed to sustainability and the environment.

With our Energy Saving Systems Energy Saving Engineering Solutions –  we can minimise the carbon footprint and reduce electricity consumption which, given the economic climate and prices, has become a critical element in production processes.

Our customers can achieve reductions of between 35% and 50% and these percentages are supported by the data:

  • Since 2016 we have managed to save our customers a total of 3,588,000 KW/h
  • 1,665 Tn of CO2 no longer emitted into the atmosphere.
  • 1,665 Tn of CO2 not emitted is equivalent to having planted almost 10,000 trees (that would be the amount needed to absorb the CO2 saved).
  • In 1 hectare there are 200 trees, which saves us 50 hectares, approx. 100 football fields.

Ready to save?

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAVE COSTS?

14/09/20210

Considering the constant increases in energy prices and having reached the highest peaks in its history, HRE encourages you to contact us so that we can carry out a study on the possibilities of energy savings.

The combination of our experience in servo systems and the application of new technologies and high value-added components is allowing us to achieve direct electrical energy savings for our customers ranging from 30% to 45%.

In addition to the obvious cost savings, this means a great improvement in the environmental impact generated by these actions. Sustainability and efficiency are our values.

We leave you more information in the following link ➡ https://hre.es/en/engineering-solutions/energy-saving-solutions-in-hydraulic-systems/

We carry out personalised studies.

HRE VENTURES INTO THE PODCAST WORLD

27/07/20210

The Basque Innovation Agency knows that you often don’t have time to read all the interesting information that comes your way. For this reason, they have created a channel on Ivoox and Spotify, where they post weekly podcasts with news and interviews on innovation that they think will be of most interest to you. They are short, simple and direct audios that can be listened to in streaming wherever and whenever you want or downloaded if you feel like saving them.

And this is where #HRE comes in, the protagonist of this channel along with seven other Innobasque partner SMEs. They have compiled interviews broadcast over the last two months on the main Basque radio stations in which representatives of each of them have explained practical cases of innovation, as well as the difficulties they face.

WHY WATER HYDRAULICS?

There are systems whose power transmission medium is water instead of oil. Why?

The first reason is because it does not pollute, if you make a comparison of the risk using a system containing oil with the same system powered by water and study the impact on people, products and the environment, the differences are obvious.

On the other hand, it eliminates the risk of fire. Equipment operating in high fire risk areas cannot be operated with standard oil systems. Water offers no fire risk or toxic threats. In terms of efficiency, individual components prepared to work with water hydraulics offer the same performance and in some cases even better performance than a similar element prepared to work with oil.

Fluid cost is not the only major saving that results from the use of water hydraulics. Consideration must also be given to the necessary adoption of strict new regulations on storage, leak clean-up, special protective clothing for users, packaging required for fluid delivery, etc. The direct and management costs necessary to comply with all of the above disappear when the hydraulic fluid comes from a tap and can be flushed down any local drain.

It also helps companies that produce goods and/or use environmentally friendly methods to gain benefits from a “green” product image in the market.

There is no greener option than using water.

HRE third consecutive year certified under ISO 9001: 2015 standards

At HRE we have been dedicated to the development of engineering projects in the field of industrial fluids for 40 years. These years of experience have given us knowledge about how important it is to generate trust in our clients, know their needs and expectations, establish effective communication channels, engage, motivate and train people to constantly evolve and adapt to market needs. . We work on these aspects every day because the value we offer to our customers is much more than just a product.

For this reason for the third consecutive year we have achieved quality certification (ISO 9001: 2015), as well as the responsibility of all the people in the organization in maintaining and improving it, so we encourage staff to join and participate.

An important characteristic about us is that we try to progress and improve, and therefore our next challenge is to become certified in the integrated system ISO9001 + 14001 + 45001 at the end of this year. This certificate seeks to operate the three previous systems together so that the organization optimizes resources and operations of the systems themselves.
